During severe or heavy snow accumulation or icy conditions, Metro will restrict bus service to severe snow routes. Service is limited to major roads only and passengers should anticipate service delays and increased wait times. Customers traveling when severe snow service is in place should be aware Metrobus may have to suspend all service if road and weather conditions worsen and travel becomes unsafe. *There will be No Service for TAGS shuttle S80 and S91 during operation under severe snow routes.
During moderate snow accumulation or light ice conditions, Metro will restrict bus service to moderate snow routes – Under moderate snow routes there is NO SERVICE on TAGS shuttle S80 and S91. Service is suspended on some routes and buses are detoured around roads prone to hazardous conditions, including many neighborhood streets. Passengers may experience increased wait times due to road conditions.
All Metrobus routes, including TAGS shuttle S80 and S91 are expected to operate during a light snowfall. Some routes have known problem areas because of factors like hilly terrain or narrow streets that could prevent buses from operating safely until those areas are cleared and treated. When conditions prevent safe operation, buses will detour on a route-by-route basis. Passengers may experience increased wait times due to road conditions.
